Elijah Cup

The Elijah Cup is a program of prayer in which individuals, couples, and families pray for a week in their home for priests, religious, and vocations.  Interested parishioners are scheduled to take home a consecrated chalice in its carrying case – “The Elijah Cup”- at the end of either the 9:00am or the 12:00pm Sunday Mass, put it in a place of honor in their home, and pray daily.  When they return the chalice at the same Mass the next weekend, it is given to the next scheduled family. 

TIME:  A moment of daily prayer while the chalice is in your home.

TALENT:  Desire to pray for an increase in religious vocations.
